Apoteket Retail Concept
Store Interior and communication. Based on Apoteket’s brand platform, the brief was to find visual parameters that add emotional value to the store experience and strengthen Apoteket’s visibility and identity, while ensuring that the customer experiences a brand regardless of channel / format. The assignment included: Exterior: A facade concept with 3 formats including walls, windows, material / surface layer and graphic elements and brand communication. Interior: Ceiling, lighting, floor, settings for different retail areas, navigation, graphic elements and brand communication. I worked for BASId and developed the concept with an architect. With a creative direction, a graphic toolbox, architect drawings and guidelines the concept was then completed by Apoteket inhouse. Overall store communication strategy and structure / hierarchy of content and design. A toolbox with typography, colors, pattern, imagery and a graphic grid for signage. A style concept that strengthens the identity based on innovation, knowledge and quality. And care of sustainability and health. With Scandinavian naturalness, environmental associations and a personal approach. Genuineness and care in detail. The natural can be seen in choice of paper or nature elements in photos. Natural looks and expressions on people or choice of display material. A genuine feeling in combination with innovation and stylish, technological solutions. Simple and functional. A unified functional concept where everything is interconnected and provides a nice balance of Apoteket as the only original and the most innovative pharmacy. Art Direction / Design with BAS.
